GoDaddy Renewal Coupons & Using WordPress for More than Blogging

WordPress.com is a blogging platform that is run by WordPress. The software was officially opened for use by all people in the year 2005, being the first of its kind to offer this type of service for free. However, not all the services are free, only the basic ones. A major advantage of this software is that it is free to register and blog. It is also very easy to use and it can be used be even people who are new to blogging. WordPress also offers some plugins like WordPress SEO by Yoast that are very helpful especially for bloggers.

Hosting for WordPress: GoDaddy Renewal Coupons

We like GoDaddy’s basic Linux web hosting service for WordPress sites as it is inexpensive, and if you want to be really hands off on the technical stuff they do offer a 1-click install of WordPress. Their introductory prices are really good, but when it comes time to renew many people are not happy with the increase in pricing. No to worry, use a coupon like the ones found at Wiseinvesting.org (click here to visit them). You can typically get better pricing by renewing for a longer period of time as well. If you are happy with the service, then why not?

Use for WordPress beyond blogging

The software is already popular among many bloggers today because it offers it’s services for free. However, what many people do not know is that WordPress does not only limit its services to bloggers. There are many other different websites you can create with this software. Some of these websites include the following:

Best WordPress Web Hosting & Good SEO Tactics

Today we wanted to cover two topics: What is the best hosting provider for a WordPress website, and what are the best SEO tactics? For the latter question, you really need to make sure that you do things properly to avoid your website getting penalized and dropped from the search engine ranking pages. Generally, the tactics that work for Google will also work for the considerably smaller but still somewhat relevant search engines such as Bing and Yahoo.

Our Favourite WordPress Web Hosting Provider

There are a lot of good web hosts out there for people looking to host a WordPress website, some even specialize in pretty much just WordPress hosting. We find that while they do a great job of it, their prices are a little high when compared to other hosting providers that have a broader service offering. Our personal favorite for WordPress web hosting is A2 Hosting. We even found some great coupons for them at couponcodehoster.org/a2-hosting-promo-code/. Why are they are our favourite host when it comes to WordPress? It comes down to speed. Their servers are very fast, and you can pay a little extra per month to upgrade to a ‘Turbo Server’ for even more speed. One complaint I hear about WordPress sites is that they can be slow (although I would argue that this is usually due to unnecessary plugins that either load a bunch of external scripts or put the database size out of control). With A2 Hosting, your site will always be fast so it’s not an issue.

The 10 Fastest WordPress Themes

10 Lightning-Fast Free and Premium Themes

Having a fast website is usually one of the most important things webmasters rate as important to them. They will pay hundreds (or even thousands of dollars) on VPS web hosting packages that promise super-quick server response times. They will pay hundreds per year to a Content Delivery Network (like MaxCDN or CloudFlare) to create a super-quick cached-version of your website.

And then they will install a beautiful looking WordPress theme that–while looking amazing–is bloated and slows the entire website down. If the theme itself isn’t coded well, or quite simply has too many features, then no CDN or server response time will make a difference in your website’s load time.

We tested out some WordPress themes, and added a few plugins that are known to conflict and slow-down a low-quality WordPress theme: w3 Total Cache, Ewww Image Optimizer, Plugin Performance Profiler, and Recent Posts with Thumbnails.

1. Avada WordPress Theme

Avada is the ‘king of the mountain’ when it comes to WordPress themes. Why? It can be any kind of website: a news blog, e-commerce store, photography portfolio, fitness website…pretty much anything you can imagine.

With such versatility, you might think that the website is big, bloated and slow. But in our theme tests, we actually found Avada to be the fastest WordPress theme we could find.

Here is a screencap from our test with GTMetrix:

Avada wordpress theme - speed test

As you can see it scored a 90% with GTMetrix. And why did it lose points? It appears that on the demo, the images aren’t compressed. But if you install something like the Eww Image optimizer that we mentioned before, you’re Avada-installed website will likely score even higher.

Bottom Line: This is as good as it gets for lightning-quick WordPress themes. … Read the rest
